Hi,
I just wanted to announce the birth of our PiDP-10 replica kit, and with that, a new overview site.
Because a PiDP-1 replica is coming up later this year, and so we will have a reasonably complete range of DEC's main models. It deserved a website to integrate them all into a single story...

Oh, I have one:
Yes, I know it says es65, so no prizes for telling it's an, er, es65.
But nobody seems to know more about the machine than that it comes from Austria, manufacturer Ernst Steiner, and it is supposed to be a multi-user 6502 system. That is literally all I learned over the past...
An update - next weekend is the VCF Zurich. We have a pretty good line-up of machines, see our Twitter feed for lotsa detail. For the very oldest machines - pre microprocessor - this is the line-up:
Always hardest to get the mini/mainframe category filled, we're quite happy with this line-up...

Hi,
I just visited Joerg Hoppe, who built a project very much in this spirit as well:
http://retrocmp.com/projects/lsibox
In the power supply base of the unit, he added simulated storage devices using a BeagleBone. So it behaves like a pretty well-equipped 11/73 in fact!
Kind regards,
Oscar.
Here is the left side of my cave...
I keep the collection strictly in one room to avoid things getting out of hand. Although the S-100s live elsewhere, as things did get slightly out of hand in the end. As they do.
Regards,
Oscar.
No pressure though.
Just a lot of Swiss guys hoping to see the PDP-6 front panel hooked up and working - would be great if this is the first VCF with PDP-6,8,10,11 and 15 ready for play.
Oh, propaganda opportunity:
VCF Zurich (19-20 Nov) looks very promising indeed... look here (and here) to see what exhibits are coming in!
We'll have you coding on the front panel of an IBM 360/30, PDP-8, PDP-11, heck, even a reproduction PDP-6!
Or relax and enjoy a pretty complete collection of 1980s home computers...
Hi,
I'm abusing the work of Angelo for propaganda purposes, but...
We hope to show his pretty amazing PDP-6 replica at the Vintage Computer Festival in Zurich next month. Amazing, because of course only 27 of these machines were made, and none of them has been in working condition since...

Hi,
>> I live in zurich but didn't know about this event.. did you made any advertisement?
Welcome in that case! Yes, we've been advertising left and right but of course things like newspapers etc only...
Hi,
We're having a Vintage Computer Festival in Zurich on November (http://vcfe.ch) and one thing we'd really would like to add to the roster is a proper exhibit on the Atari - especially, the 8 bitters. If there's anyone here who'd like to take up an exhibit table on that, please let us know...
Yay! There will be a Vintage Computer Festival in Switzerland again this year.
This time, it'll be held in Zurich rather than Winterthur, in the Rote Fabrik cultural center, at the shore of Lake Zurich.
There's already a nice line-up of exhibits and presentations.
But as we have plenty of...
