    DPT SmartCache EISA Identification

Beginning my foray into insanity with EISA I've already hit a snag, anyone know which variation of the DPT SmartCache Plus this is? It looks like its on a PM3011 board form factor but the chips match a PM2011/PM2012 but I can't find enough about the Plus to tell which model it is. I don't know...

    The South WTB: IBM 5100

While a cool system in its own right, I'm mainly looking for a 5100 now. I'll let you know if that changes though

    The South WTB: IBM 5100

After pruning my collection and saving for a bit I've decided to begin my active search for a 5100. I'd like one complete and hopefully in working order but I can't be too picky. I'm located in Knoxville TN but will drive up to 7-8 hours if there's anything tempting enough. I'll throw out a...

The South WTB: External Hard Disk Drive w/ IEEE-488

Well I ended up getting a working HP 9133 for 135 shipped, figured I wasn't getting anywhere on the info front so I'd take the risk and see what happens

The South WTB: External Hard Disk Drive w/ IEEE-488

Well Dallas is o n l y a 12 hour drive for me, so maybe thats the best time to pick one up :,) I do need to get a ridiculously large hard drive as some point. Though I think that might be overkill for a luggable system

The South WTB: External Hard Disk Drive w/ IEEE-488

Thanks for the suggestion. I've seen a few of varying HP models but all a bit too expensive for me to go in on when I'm not sure if they're compatible, since the manual on the Otrona GPIB port seems to be lost media. I'll keep a lookout for a cheap one that pops up

The South WTB: External Hard Disk Drive w/ IEEE-488

I'm looking for an external hard disk drive to use with an Otrona Attache 8:16, and I figure the IEEE-488 port would be the most likely candidate. Anyone have a drive they're looking to sell/trade? I'd like one of the supposedly sold original 10 MB external drives, but I've never seen one and...

    GaGe CompuScope Lite PC/XT Drivers/Software

I recently acquired a CompuScope Lite digitizer card from ~1992 with a PC Bus interface compatible with an IBM PC/XT. I'd like to test this card as it seems like a pretty interesting product to turn an XT with Hercules graphics into an oscilloscope, but I can't find the original software or...

    IBM 5151 Video cable hotswappable?

Couldn't find any info on this online and it might be a silly question, but is OK to unplug and plug in the video cable on a 5151 while the computer and monitor are powered on? I'm doing troubleshooting on the monitor with a 5160 and wasn't sure if this could somehow damage the MDA card or...

The South WTB Dumb Terminal with RJ45 and RS232 DB25

Looking for a dumb terminal with a rj45 port for keyboard and db25 rs232 hookup to computer. No particular model but nothing too expensive, just need it to work. Located in Knoxville, TN, but willing to drive for a few hours to pick up, would prefer no shipping to be involved.
