I am interested in either a complete working unit, or if you happen to have a top cover and/or frame I would be interested in that too. I have everything (front panel, PS, cards) that were stripped from a unit so if I can find a case I could put a complete machine together. Let me know what you got.
I listed this on ebay, posting it here in case anyone is interested. It powers on and seems fine but I don't have a land line to test it with.

I wonder if it was inherent bus noise from the connectors and number of cards, a specific card, or if the PS was overtaxed?
I have run various combinations of four cards at a time; Tandy RAM expansions, VGA, XT-IDE, serial, sound blaster, network etc. and the PC has been rock steady with no...
I wrote for a copy of the PC Enterprises catalog back in the day and even ordered a HDD and VGA card, I lost track of the catalog many years ago and sold the HX with the cards in it in the mid 90's and have never seen on of their cards/accessories on ebay. If you have a scan of this mag can you...
The build is mostly done for hardware and software. I am curating a list of games and apps for VGA, CGA, and TGA and sorting those into menus. So far it is a solid success and when I get back next week I will finish up the terminal software and modem configuration and keep adding to the games...
Well crap. The Mac boots and runs fine from floppies and seems to ignore the internal HDD which just blinks and makes an occasional noise, this being a pretty typical experience with a 30+ year old HDD I thought nothing of it. I got a set of system 6 disks and ordered a SCSI to SD card...
I'd rather give these away than toss them in the bin and they be lost to history, paypal me the cost of whatever usps flatrate box they fit in or pick up in the N. VA area.
The system was delivered today and the case is super clean, as is the motherboard, no hint of corrosion or aging. The screen is super sharp and it is a great candidate. The bad news is that the HDD isn't detected but who cares as I am going to a flash memory storage solution. The mystery port is...
Long story short;
I have an XT class PC with an XT-IDE and a 512mb CF card. No good way at present to use real floppies or a gotek for a few reasons.
What I would like to do is format that CF card with DOS 5.0 as a bootable drive and if possible define a few partitions, and if possible drop...
I bought an SE with 1mb RAM and a 20mb HDD. I am not a Mac person and never owned any back in the day but I have always wanted to pick one of these up.
What is the current best option for modern mass storage and getting software onto the mass storage? SCSI2SD...
The project is coming along well! CGA and VGA programs tested display edge to edge, no artifacts, and wonderfully clear. I did a test load of a few CGA games and some VGA RIP BBS graphics and it all worked perfectly, this is going to be an ideal BBS machine. The next task to do is sort the CF...
I was digging through some Tandy stuff and I found a 1100FD I forgot I had and it works fine. I suppose I can help in testing any 1100 to 1110 ideas that come along.
