    Compaq SLT/286 RAM

This was posted online from a person that had the car charger cable: the +12V pin is the top pin closest to the rear of the computer, the pin directly below that one is Ground. Check the picture and the orientation of the pins and the snap clip that holds the plug in. Hope this helps someone...

I am also looking for some RAM for my SLT286! I found a couple of pictures of Kingston modules to add as well!

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

Thank you! Any info we have on getting a monitor to work would be great - the composite out is black & white only and was there to connect a green monitor. Here's some info from the notes section of the Owner's Manual that Mark uploaded to IA:

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

I can't swear that it will work as I don't have one (monitor or Amstrad/Sinclair), but I got some info from a person on Discord "CJS" that is living in Japan at this time, and he provided this, which is from a site about Japanese computers. I edited out the DIN plugs that aren't the ones on the...

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

There is another Owner's Manual posted with a section for the monitor with some good info like monitor pinout conversion to IBM, etc. https://archive.org/details/toshiba-t-100-owners-manual There's a Technical Reference Manual: https://archive.org/details/toshiba-t-100-tech-ref-eng And also...

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

I've just uploaded the Owner's Manual with Floppy instructions, and the Programmer's Reference Manual to the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/toshiba-t-100-manuals/Toshiba%20T100%20Owners%20Manual/ Happy computing!

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

I've been translating a Japanese technical manual looking at the pinouts, etc. I'll see if I can match this picture with what I find in the book - Thanks!

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

I'm also considering dumping the ROMS in it, but I've never done that before, so any tips would be appreciated!

Toshiba T100 - the US counterpart to the Japanese Pasopia

I'm posting about this here and on Vogons hoping to get some information from these two massive groups. I've been scouring the internet since I ended up with a Toshiba T-100. It's a pretty nice little machine, really, but there's not a lot of usable information online about it. Maybe it didn't...

    Accessing filesystems on CP/M disks.

Hi all, I know this thread is pretty old, but wanted to mention on here that Chuck at Sydex is no longer selling 22Disk as of January, 2022. I emailed him to get a copy registered on that date and got that info, but the shareware version was recommended for my needs (Osborne 1), and it worked...

Where to get SD2IEC in the states?

I bought one from Koolstar42 and the price was very reasonable. It works great as well. It doesn't have the a serial pass through port, though - but it's solid!

Apple IIgs Dyna Comp LR 38879 power supply recap questions....

Very strange. I'll just put up the PDFs then for you - the parts list is an .RTF file, and this won't allow me to attach that one. Well, maybe I could make it a PDF as well. Let's see:

Apple IIgs Dyna Comp LR 38879 power supply recap questions....

Ok, so I got this power supply in an Apple IIe platinum machine. The machine wouldn't power on, just flicker the power light and the LED on the mainboard. There were several cards in the IIe. I pulled the supply out and tried a working supply and the machine started right up. So I had this...

Apple IIgs Dyna Comp LR 38879 power supply recap questions....

Yep - two beeps on the diode check with a reading of .002, which is the same as touching the leads together. I tested that same diode on a working power supply and it's the same reading.

Apple IIgs Dyna Comp LR 38879 power supply recap questions....

Hi - I always take a pic before I do the work, and I replaced all the caps on the board, including the RIFAs. I've checked the polarity against the original picture, and also the schematics, and they're in as they were originally. I just opened the .7z file and all the files inside opened...
