    16-bit ICM/LF systems/software

I've dumped the firmware from the board I bought, and got a scan of the manual which includes the schematics of the personality boards http://bitsavers.org/pdf/intercontinentalMicroSystems/ICM_CPZ-186/ I suspect the prom is for a 5" drive (CPZ-186_40T on the label) Are there other firmware...

How to make new multi-track tape heads?

http://www.jrfmagnetics.com/tapeheadintro.html NOS 1/2" 9-track tape heads are still available. I've bought many, many, many of them. 7-track has been out of production for 50 years and are very difficult to find combo 7/9 track heads are even less common

    DEC units on ebay

You need it to isolate the sense amps from adjacent board digital logic noise, which you can deal with by rearranging the cards.

IBM System/36 5364 - Imaging and Emulating Physical Disks

I've never had to do this, but it came up in another context. Can emulated images be written back to a physical drive with the emulator board?

    16-bit ICM/LF systems/software

I've had a few 80186 slave boards for a while, and just picked up an ICM CPZ-186 SBC. I was wondering if the TurboDOS for it has turned up. I didn't see a thread about 16 bit TurboDOS beyond the one about getting it running on a PC.

Where are the 5110, 5120 and 5130 posts?

IBM wasn't a monolythic entity. Small systems came out of many divisions/locations that in some cases competed with each other. The early 80s pre-PC was a crazy time with at least six different IBM product lines in the small computer/computerized office space. Very few examples of a bunch of...

"I had hoped with the forum re-organization that those discussions would be collected here." I don't think there is any intention of rearanging messages, too many links would break.
