Thats just the NT4.0 setup. There were ancient MS-DOS controller pc's inside of lots of things as well.

I had a 24 point "Projects to do list". I scratched off 15 line items and have started who knows how many since without ever adding them to the list. I dont really look at the list even though its taped to my wall next to my desk.

Not to mention I saw NT 4.0 machines being run on Hospital equipment as late as 2014. Because it just worked.

Which version of NT? What you described was how NT 4.0 operated... But the strange thing is I dont remember it being that way with NT 3.51.

Many people, myself included, build and make the projects found on Github. buying them is boring. Building them is all the fun. So Myself and other folks are allowed to have our own opinions of Github and how awful it really is.

Now that Texelec has good replacement pads.. Why would you bother other than the cases where the KP is missing. I guess I just accept the terrible Keytronic KB for what it is as I have so many systems that have one. @jafir is right about the HD floppy support. Youd need a replacement floppy...

There used to be SD cards with WIFI.. Dont know why but them came and went and I never got to test one. USB memory stick with wifi you say? Can you post a link?

Of course. Macs arent made well. Pretty badly in fact. I'd say MOST boards from the 70's on the other hand are much easier to repair than boards made in the following decades. But things happen and there are some boards damaged to the point of non repairable.

Exactly like @Eudimorphodon states, not all cf cards work with XTIDE devices. I have already recommended this one on amazon a few times as another member turned me onto it when i had trouble with the cf cards in my drawer...

Thats assuming the other pins in the connector are correctand not proprietary.
