    NuTone 2071 Cabinet Stereo Question

Hey everyone, I'm going to turn a NuTone 2071 Stereo Intercom that lived in my grandparents wall from 1966-2019 into a stereo system. The master unit itself needs service, and I'm going to send it to Northside Service Company. However, I have a question about the wires supplying 20V out of...

Hey everyone, I'm going to use Re-AOL (AOL 3.0 w/ different server) on my 386, so before I installed it, I downloaded the 32-bit version on my Acer Aspire w/ Windows 7 to test it out. However, when I try to connect over TCP/IP, it gives an error stating "(TCP/IP) Unable to connect to...

Getting a Motorola Meteor to work on a cell network

Hmm, I wasn't planning to spend a whole lot of money on this project, so I may try another rather pointless project with a Western Electric trimline phone.

Getting a Motorola Meteor to work on a cell network

Hey everyone, I had an idea to get my Motorola bag phone on a modern cell network or something like that. I'd like to keep as much as possible, and I'd like to see if it could be contained within the bag. Would this be possible since the AMPS network was shut down in 2008? Note: This is...

    Software Compatibility Question

Hey everyone, I downloaded Elcotel PNM manager 2.2 (pay phone programming software) for running on my 386DX/33. However, the manual says it needs a 486, MS-DOS 6.2, and Windows (95, 98, or NT). Has anyone had success with running software with a computer running less than the system...

Crescendo MIDI player for Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 95, & Mac-OS System 7.1

Last thing I need, does anyone have the Crescendo 2.2 executable(s) for Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0? I've checked the ftp.sunet.se archives, but I haven't found it. The Internet Archive hasn't archived the file either.

    America Online Screen Name Question

Dang, I kinda wanted to test out AOL 3.0 with a TCP/IP Ethernet connection on a 80386. Since that doesn't work, does anyone know of another old version of AOL or a re-creation like Re-AOL that is compatible with Windows 3.1 and may possibly work?\ Update: Was looking online and came across a...

    America Online Screen Name Question

So if the servers that ran the channels have been shut down, I suppose none of the channels would work, but would NetFind & the E-Mail stuff that it had still possibly work?

    America Online Screen Name Question

Do you mean AOL as an online service (software program)? Because you can still head over to www.aol.com and access your mail, news, etcetera, and download the newest version of the AOL desktop software. Also (disclaimer), this was a fun little project to see what works and what doesn't on AOL...

Best place to find software for Windows 3.1

This software will be installed on a '386DX with Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS 4.01*. The hard disk will probably be about 1-2GB so there will be plenty of space. *= This MS-DOS version may be upgraded later to MS-DOS 5 or MS-DOS 6.
