I did get prompted to increase the resolution when I was installing the USB mgmt software from Adaptec. So it now can do 1024x768 which was locked out before the upgrade. Totally working as designed!

Modem7, Thank for the reply. I decided to remove peripherals one at a time. Turns out the expansion RAM card went bad. I'm back to booting, but with 16 whole meg of ram.

I turned my Toshiba 430CDT on for the first time in 6 months and it won't post. I can f12 and see the screen works for updating bios, but after the initial 5 seconds of the hard drive seeking, it stops. I don't recall a Bios / CMOS battery error on it, so I'm not sure that's the issue. Does...
