I picked up a really clean 1702 yesterday from a seller on FB Marketplace. She was selling it for a family friend and wasn't sure if it even worked or not, so it was a bit of a gamble and I was fine with that. The good news is that the picture looks great and there's no issues there, at least none that I immediately noticed when briefly testing it, but there is an issue with the audio. As soon as it's powered on there's a somewhat loud buzzing emitted from the speaker. The volume control doesn't change the volume of the buzzing but does have an affect on it - the pitch of the noise gets slightly higher until around the halfway point on the control when it switches to more of a static sound that also changes in pitch as the knob is turned. Sound actually does work - you can clearly hear whatever is coming in on the input but it's distorted. Does this issue sound familiar to anyone? I googled around a bit but most of the results are regarding issues of no audio at all which of course isn't the problem here.
