  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

My prized collection of IBM PCjr items is for sale, including a PC Enterprises dual-drive system with 640k.

That link will take you to a list of all of my current auctions, about half of which are the PCjr items...

I'll try to check in here to answer questions. You can always send questions through Ebay also..

I want it all very badly, but just the monitor, system, and joystick would cost over $200. I would go for it if I had the kind of mony, but thats a tad steeep seems I just bought an off lease Evo on eBay...

"Tad steep" will be borne out on eBay, where things tends to establish what will be true market value when averaged out. For the comment you made *if* you had the money (and I would make an identical comment) and others with interest here, there is a desire expressed. Sometimes life gets in the way.

I have lowered the starting price by half... now let's get the bidding started :)

I also lowered the BIN price, and there is NO RESERVE (there wasn't to begin with)

You must have learned by now that ALL the serious bidding happens in the last 6 to 8 seconds of a listing. That's why anything over a 7 day listing seems pretty much a waste of time unless it's a Buy It Now item. Those make sense to list for 30 days at a time.

Certainly I know that (take a look at my feedback rating, and 'Member Since..'), my wife says "not on purses, though"... evidently women who buy purses on Ebay don't know the "rules"... and start bidding as soon as the auction starts.... :)

There are a ton of people "watching" these auctions; probably more than I've ever had on an auction before, so if anyone is seriously interested, I would recommend you bid your highest proxy bid, even if you do wait until 10 seconds left

I don't want to rain on anybody's auction, but if you want a scanned (and OCRed) set of JrNewsletters let me know by private message. We are missing a few issues - if you have your own set, please let me know so that we can fill the holes in.
