Personal computer retailers of the early 1980s are also part of computer history.

This won't be of interest to everyone, but if you want to hear what it was like to open and run a microcomputer store in New Zealand back in the early 1980s, it's available in the article here.

Of particular interest might be the 1981 catalogue which is linked to the article. In particular the mind boggling NZ prices. I think at that time 1$NZ was worth about $US 0.50. Also, there was a 40% sales tax!
