I would point to one minor error for the website. IBM did sue companies that copied the IBM BIOS. See https://www.nytimes.com/1984/02/22/business/eagle-ibm-settlement.html for an example. The difference was that Franklin kept fighting Apple long after the case was lost while IBM got settlements fast.
