Hi, I have an Altos 5-15d that should be working, but something seems wrong. It powers on, but I don't hear the floppy drives attempting to load. Additionally, on the serial terminal (JC), I always see "/?./.." after resetting (9600 baud rate, I also tried other settings and also strait cable and null modem). I replaced the CPU chips, but nothing changed. When I removed the ROM, the "/?./.." no longer appeared on the terminal. Today I replaced EPROM with new one (from http://www.bitsavers.org/bits/Altos/Series_5/firmware/) - still the same. Do you have any tips on what I should check?
