Recently got an APPLE IIgs, 4 meg ram expansion and floppyemu.

Downloaded a hard disc image that have the gs/os installed and is reall nice :D.

But struggle to install more software.

Someone have a hard disco image or images that are already configured software / games that can share?.

It could be much more easy for me to start using gs/os this way.

Thanks!.

Have you thought about copying the hard disk image you have to another name (copying it) and using the gs/os install disks (preloaded on floppy EMU) to erase and do a clean install yourself?

There's no way to do an install with just a FloppyEmu, because it can only be a floppy drive OR a hard disk at any one moment. Thus there is no way to mount up the hard disk image AND the install images at the same time. The best you can do is use it to make actual floppy disks, and then use those to install onto the SmartPort hard disk image. Start by loading up an image of something like Copy II+, then use that to do disk copies from images to physical disks.

I love my FloppyEmu, but for a hard disk I ended up picked up a SCSI2SD from eBay, since I already had a RAMFast SCSI card. Now my hard disk is on the SD card and i just use the FloppyEmu to mount disk images. If you go this route I recommend the SCSI2SD v5.5 (aka the Pocket Edition) as it will plug right onto the DB-25 on the back of your SCSI card; no cable needed.

If you have the floppy EMU C you can buy the daisy chainer and use both the floppy emu and real floppy drives. At that point you have access to diskl (made using ADTPro) I own the daisy chainer... But unfortunately I own the Floppy Emu model B so it doesn't work.. I plan on buying a model C, but not yet.

I have the SCSI2SD 5.1 I like the option of using it internal and External (using a DB 25 header I soldered on) and of course it had the best price.
