Hi,
I have an IBM AT and it came with the Archive Corporation SC-499 controller and a tape drive. I don't have a tape for the drive but I am still interested in knowing if the controller works. PC-Tools backup, nor Backup Exec, recognizes the controller card (stock configuration on the card from what I can tell in the manual).
What software would have been used to drive this card? The SC-499 Tape Controller Information Guide does have information for programmers so I guess I could write code to test if I can see the card, but I would far prefer to not have to go down that road.
