ASCII Console in POST page
Folks, the use of an ASCII terminal [aka Console] is part of IBM PS/2 lore. It is true, I fired up a 3151 back when shipping was cheap and so were 3151 terminals.
I am blissfully unaware of any part of PS/2 documentation that describes how the POST handles an ASCII terminal. The identified patent does [in lawyer technobabble]. Is there any better description out there?
