Broken pin on the serial port

Well, the 95LX finally arrived, but I had a bad surprise: one of the serial port pins is broken.

What do you think? What's the best way (if there's one, seems hard to me but I don't have much experience) to fix it?
 
What does the PC board side of the connector look like? Depending on how the connector's constructed, it might be possible to replace the whole pin.

Judging from the appearance of the case plastic around the connector hole, this thing has had some pretty rough treatment...

Fortunately, pin 1 isn't strictly needed for operation--you'll find (check with a continuity tester) that it's internally connected to pin 4.

You're right, one is shield ground and the other is signal ground... that's great, I can simply ignore it, probably... I didn't check before :)

I'll see monday if it works, I don't have the original cable so I need to build it. Anyway I managed to transfer files with the HP-SIR interface... but that's painfully slow
