New poster here. For those who would like to "build" a CP/M capable computer there is a kit available that may address your needs. This info may be posted elsewhere on the forum but in case it is not here is an option to explore. Brielcomputers.com (Vince Briel) released his designed AltairMicro 8800 computer. This one board machine has the same front panel switches, etc that emulates the Altair. The computer contains a usable 32k of memory and runs on either 4, 8, or 16k Altair Basic. It also supports an SD port, monitor and keyboard I/Os. A just released option for the computer includes an additional 32k of usable memory and 2ea 512k drives emulated in additional memory IC's. This option will come with CP/M and a USB port that allows for using a PC as a terminal. I'm an owner of the base machine and am waiting for the newly released add-on. Just thought I'd post in case this info was not readily known. There is no financial gain for me, but wanted to pass this information on.:D
