Can I adapt a TRS-80 Model 12 keyboard to work on a Model II?

I need a keyboard for a TRS-80 model II. I dont have the original keyboard however I have a spare model 12 keyboard. The visual difference is the model 12 keyboard has a male DIN connector as opposed to the model II keyboards' female DIN connector.

Not sure of the pinout but it is possible?

Thanks for the Pinout link Pete. The thread makes mention that the "A" keyboard should work fine on a "B" system, but what about the other way around. Was it not mentioned because the greater need is "B" systems without keyboards?

You can swap either way as long as you account for the pinout change. There are some modern keyboard adapters for both A and B machines available now as well.
