i just received a Compaq Prosignia 486 motherboard, part no. 143780-001. i went to go hook it up and try a boot, but then i saw it has this really strange connector for the PSU. it ALMOST looks like an AT header, but not quite. there is a header with 5 pins, a small gap, then another one with 7 pins. i haven't seen anything like this before, and i was wondering if anybody here has any information on it. i think i have pretty good google-fu, but after 2 hours i haven't been able to turn up anything that helps me.
here is a picture of it.. i am at my shop and i have no digital camera here so i had to settle for putting it on my scanner. it's a bit blurry but you can see what it looks like:
^^ you can see it at the bottom of the pic, right below the EDO sockets.
does anybody know what this is? is there any way i can just use a normal AT supply on it if i build some sort of adapter? i'd love to see a pinout if anybody has it for this! if it helps, i noticed that this board has an odd little image on it with a picture of a tennis racket, and to the right of it, it says "Wayne's world" ........... wtf?
thank you, gentlemen.
