Hi, I’m restoring a retro AT PC. I’m using a FreeTech P5F83 Sparrow mobo. I try to upgrade the SD-Ram with 2 sticks of 64 meg, to have 128 meg (max suggested by the documentation).
But booting from the bios, only 32 of the 128 megs are recognized (if I plug 1 stick, only 16 of 64 are recognized).
I used 2x64MB PC-100 Hyundai 3.3V SDR SDRAM 8Mx64 (tried with 2 other sticks, it gave me the same result).
The documentation says the ram should be automatically detected, the modo can accept 72 pin FPM-EDO, SDR Udimm 168 pin EDO Udimm, 168 pin Edo Udimm and SDR Udimm ram.
Would somebody have a suggestion? I tried to use different sticks, swapped them, sand a little bit the ram connectors, used contact cleaner nothing helps…
