Can't see Icons in Amiga Drawers

I have an Amiga 2000 with 3.1 installed. I have a Data partition where I've been installing some Fred Fish software. I install each from an LHA into it's own drawer on the Data partition. It works and I'm not having much difficulty with this other than the icons and other files in the Drawer not being visible unless I go to the Workbench menu and select "Show::All Files" for the Drawer. After that, the files are all visible until I reboot, at which time, the icons/files are invisible again. Other Drawers and icons on the Workbench partition work as expected with files being visible. Any ideas how to make this persistent so I don't have to do a Show::All Files?

It's been a long time, but iirc the 'Snapshot' menu item will remember the current window settings

I tried that, but maybe I munged it somewhere along the way. I'll mess with it again.

Snapshot of the window would be the correct option with the window containing the drawers being active and set to "Show all files".

You can not snapshot the drawers, as they have no .info files. (that's the reason why they don't show up)

Yes, that was it. Misunderstanding on my part about how snapshot works and 30 years of fog.
