I'm a huge fan of electronic music, especially the electronic music of the classical avante garde type, and since I'm also a huge fan of early computer technology I had to grab this lp when I stumbled upon it on ebay. I was hoping it would have some technical notes about the recordings, like what computer was used for the recordings, but alas the only hint is the cover photo and really, it doesn't even mean that that is the computer that was used, they may have just pick the Pdp-10 because it's aesthetics made for an appealing cover. I recorded some bits of the album but the file is too large to attach. I plan on recording the entire album and uploading it to YouTube once I have the time. Honestly, it's not very good, the recordings are from the late 70s which is not really a great vintage for classical electronic music, I mean it has some decent moments but I guess I was hoping for something great. I'm glad I have the album, though more as a piece for my vintage computing collection than my record collection.

According to https://www.thomholmes.com/post/numbers the answer is the music was created on a PDP-10. I know there were a lot of stories about it at the time but other than one review that is paywalled, nothing about it seems to be online. I would have preferred a primary source but one does what one can.
Wow, that's great, I was sure I had searched it without any results but obviously I didnt do a very good job of it. Thank you!
