I recently received a TRS-80 model III that has a Cumana floppy disk controller in it, and two 5,25 DD 96 TPI drives (Mitsubishi M4853).
I am trying to get the FDC and drives functioning and creating working boot disks, no luck so far.
Does anyone have information on the Cumana controller, specially the function of the jumpers LK1 and LK2 and which pod is used for what?
There is little info found on that board. I hope it is 100% compatible with the Tandy FDC and would not need special boot disk for it.
