Datasheet for microcomputer trainer CPU

Who here remembers the Science Fair Microcomputer Trainer? Most of these appear to have shipped with a TI TMS1100 CPU. Mine however has what is labelled as a Texas Instruments MP1312. Does anyone know where to find a datasheet for this IC? In the manual I have in the parts list, it shows the line "Large Integrated Circuit, TMS1100 OR MP1312", which to me indicates they are not identical chips. I have struck out finding a datasheet on the chip (I have a project in mind and need to know the voltage requirements/limits but would like the sheet regardless).
Cheers

Hello, I don't have this device but I was doing a few searches and here are some interesting pages that came up, you probably found the same:

^^ Shows "Type" as TMS1100 and "Marking" MP1312.

Also found some MAME stuff on this, like this page:

^^ Shows "serial" as MP1312 and "device" TMS1100

I don't know what the MP is for. If you look on that first link you'll see they also talk about TMX vs TMP vs TMS, but then it would be labeled "TMP1100" so I don't know where the 1312 comes from.

Would it be safe to assume it has the same electrical characteristics of a TMS1100? I don't know!! :)

Excellent finds, thanks. Looks like it is a very specific ROM burned into a generic TMS1100 depending on the device? Cool.

The heart of the SFMT is a Teas Instruments TMS-1100. MP1312 is a reference to the particular mask ROM program, instruction PLA and "O" output PLA configuration requested by the customer, presumably this was originally Gakken in this case. In the case of the MP1312 used in the SFMT both the instruction PLA and "O" output PLA have the standard configuration. Therefore, the standard TMS1000 datasheet describes the instruction set on pages 16 and 17, and the "O" output has the 7-segment display mapping described on page 9.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the SFMT is that using only the 4bit TMS-1100, with its built in 2K of ROM and 128 nibbles of RAM the authors implemented a virtual machine, a basic machine code monitor and seven "games". When you're running your own programs onf the SFMT its TMS-1100 is emulating another, different, 4bit computer.
