Hello All,

It's time to start planning for the next DFW Retrocomputing meetup. The first Retrocomputing Meetup of 2024 will be on January 21, brought to you by the DFW Retrocomputing Meetup group and the Vintage Computing Collective of North Texas.

Our winter meetup is generously sponsored by Mouser, who will have a table at the event demonstrating some modern retrocomputers (plus some swag). Be sure to stop by and check it out.
Our meetup will be at the same location as the last one, Bingo Bingo in Grand Prairie. The overall response to this location has been positive, so we are returning.

If you have something to bring for show and tell, please do! It can be something new, or something you already brought before. There will be tables and extension cords for exhibits. Or, just bring yourself!

The new venue is centrally located in the DFW metroplex and much larger than the space we had at the DMS, with better air conditioning. There will be ample parking, tons of space, and plenty of tables and electrical hookups.

The meetup will begin at 12:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm.

The new venue will have a concession stand with a selection of comfort food, so plan to eat lunch there.

No talk is scheduled for this meetup. Once we are more familiar with the new venue, we plan to resume the talks.

As on prior meetups, you are welcome to bring your items for swap, sale, or givaway. However, you must ensure that all items are removed from the venue at the end of the meetup. We cannot leave behind boxes of donation items.

If you are in the DFW area, or within a comfortable driving distance, please consider coming!

If you are able, consider joining the meetup group. You can RSVP through the group. RSVP is not required, but it's nice to know how many people are planning to come.
