I have a Pentium 4 machine, a no-brand PC in tower format, of 2002-vintage :D which runs Windows 2000 Server and I use it as a workstation (when not using my laptop). The motherboard has three slots for memory modules, which I currently have fitted with three 512MB SDRAM PC133 DIMM modules, so the total amount of RAM is currently 1.5GB in this machine
The motherboard manual says it can take up to 3 GB of RAM, but it seems that 1GB SDRAM PC133 DIMM modules do not exist, or exist only in ECC-versions meant for server-grade systems.
Does anyone know about 1GB SDRAM PC133 DIMM modules for normal PCs? Would my machine take the ECC-version of 1GB SDRAM PC133 DIMM modules?
Thanks a lot!
