I've had my 2gs rom 01.for a couple weeks now. Downloading as much software as I can find with my emu when I came across synthlabs. Interesting. And thought maybe there was better software out there. Ok I just picked up a Technics KN 440 synthesizer. I don't have any midi cables or adapters for the 2gs. Ebay is a hit or miss. Opinions?

Looks like it'd be fun to try. I don't know what MIDI adapter you'd need. Same serial ports as a mac, so maybe some mac adapters would be supported?

I have the Apple MIDI adapter in the original box, it says it's both for the Mac SE and later along with the Apple IIgs. So if you find a loose Apple 8 pin mini din serial to MIDI adapter, it should work with the IIgs.

I ended up downloading garageband onto my MacBook pro then ordered the usb to 5 pin dim adapter. in this case ,newer is better and cheaper vs buying vintage
