great deal on a not so vintage HP calc. The seller, not me, has multiples. Essentially the same hardware AFAIK as the much loved 50g (less memory though). 75mhz ARM (Samsung) processor. This is not an RPN calc, and no CAS. Still en exceptional deal if you ask me. A very very cheap intro to modern high speed HP calculators.
I have a 40gs which is similar but has an advanced CAS. Which may make it unsuitable for testing purposes. Very sturdy. I'm glad I scarfed one. If you really want a model with CAS, just buy a Prime, or wait for a deal maybe.
HP graphing calcs of this vintage and newer are the schnitzel. There's also the 30b, can be found new also for a bit more, an RPN business calc w/o graphing capability that can be converted into a super accurate scientific calc. I have 2 but haven't gotten around to converting them yet.
