Yeah, I'll pull it and try to build a new pack. It certainly is not healthy to discharge it that deeply, no matter the chemistry.
I pulled the capacitors off the mainboard this afternoon. There is a lot of corrosion damage from leakage and all of the 10µF caps failed an out-of-circuit ESR test with my Peak meter.
It seems like some of the corrosion has also crept under the solder mask, as there's some sections under that are flaking off (similar to the damage I've seen before from leaking Nichicon PF/PX series caps.) I've scraped off the contaminated solder mask and I'll re-seal it after putting new caps in and verifying continuity. Definitely more of a project than I thought I was getting into this morning: removing the 33µF cap C8 on its own took nearly an hour.
