I was an IBM employee when the IBM PC was first announced and purchased one in the initial distribution. It was been on display in my home office. Attached are some details. I live near Poughkeepsie, NY and I am willing to deliver the big items within a reasonable distance. I don't have a good idea the prices for these items.

Hello Neighbor, I am about 45 minutes from Poughkeepsie.
So what are you looking to do sell it or just find prices? Anything you have as far as original documentation and sales receipts help alot otherwise its just another 5150 for sale; Original boxes add as well.

I have my original order documentation, I have the price list, I have some of advertising stuff, unused printer cartridges,
some memory with original boxes. I definitely want to sell everything but I am new to this process so I am searching for advice on how.

Order documentation and sales receipt is good. Price list is nothing special, same with advertising. They still make printer ribbons so its fine to toss them in but they are most likely bone dry. When you say some memory you mean Dip IC chips? I assume if you have an early 5150 it has a black PSU and a 16KB-64KB board, and those are the 16Kbit chips to upgrade? If they are from IBM thats a nice item to include.

Price is really what someone is willing to pay. I have six 5150's and one is an early model. I got all of them for under $150.00, most folks on here are in the same park, however having lots of good photos and showing original included documentation and the unit powered on and working you can accept offers on it. Take those photos and post them in the marketplace. If you were looking for a set price, there is no such thing.. Just find someone who wants it but they are not uncommon by any means.

Thank you very much for the detailed advice. I will take more pictures get you the answers on the memory. It is nice to know you are not far away because I am concerned about the shipping. I have thought about putting up for consignment or bringing it to VCF fairs. I have not turned it on in a long time, so I want to carefully clean it first. I also want to research how to clean it correctly. Thanks again for your interest and advice. I have already had some interest at higher prices.

Its like fishing. You want to find a hungry big fish, you just need to be there ready at the right moment. Cleaning it and taking really nice photos (not a heap of dirty garbage sitting on a sofa, but arranged nicely on a clean table and powered on) goe really far. I can help you out on shipping, I ship plenty of these things internationally (dont skimp on good boxes and proper packing material unless you want the seller to report a claim of things arrived damaged).

Can't emphasize Verault's point enough. Even triple-boxing with foam in between isn't too much for a system of any real value (to you or the customer).

The serials numbers are 5150 - 0125147 and the 5161 is 02465025161. I have attached a few pictures.
