Floppy disk recovery

So I may have accidentally bent my floppy disk a tiny bit, and for some reason it's not working anymore! Is there any chance I could recover my data from it?

You can't straighten out a floppy disk, but if you have a 2-ton hydraulic press, you can actually fold a floppy drive to the same "crane" shape and it should read it OK then.

Just don't hit the eject button until you are finished recoveringyour data, and splash liberal amounts of vaseline on it before insertion.
