I needed a short 8-bit ISA network adapter for my IBM 5155 but couldn't find any in stock or for sensible money, so made my own from skiselev's design (https://github.com/skiselev/isa8_eth). I made 5. I have for sale the remaining 4, all programmed, tested and working.

Note the brackets are 3D printed so not particularly strong. Be gentle with them as I don't have spares. The designs are available on the github link above so you can reproduce things like the bracket if needed.

I'm asking for the same as the original designer, i.e. £35 ($40) + p&p to cover my costs. Please pm me and I will get an estimate.

I live in Leicestershire, England so take that in to consideration please.

Wow, I feel so out of touch... I've been following Sergey for years on his web page, but I had no idea about the ISA NIC.

Was it a fun build? It doesn't look any more difficult than the VGA adapter was.

On a whim I bought some of these RTL chips and random ethernet jacks with built-in magnetics off Aliexpress almost two years ago intending to work on a Tandy Plus Bus card using them but then work ate my life. Seeing that someone's now published a full working design using pretty much exactly the parts I bought should be a kick in the pants to suck it up and get back to it.

Neither did I until someone on another forum suggested it as a DIY option. I needed a short ethernet card for my 5155 and the only available option was $200+ from Canada.

They were really fun to build. Not quite as fun though as my nixie watch kits I bought from some random guy in Russia a few years back.

I say do it. I can confirm the design works and is good.

Now I just need to sell these extras to make my money back. If I don't get any interest in the next few days, I'll have to put them up on an auction site.
