Hi all, I have a Victor 9000 that I've restored to working state but is now taking up space and I'd like to get it to a good home.

CPU unit with dual 5.25" drives, both cleaned and lubed. Victor CRT, caps checked out OK, rigged strain relief on the connection cable. Keyboard completely refoamed (absolutely necessary on these Keytronic mechanisms). Includes extra board which I'm pretty sure is a RAM expansion but honestly not certain, see pic. Includes an original manual and some disks, with some additional floppies from a seller on ebay and a ROM upgrade chip that I haven't installed but you can with some minor motherboard modification. Boots MSDOS on both drives. CP/M-86 original disk included but that boots only on one drive (and won't copy, I think it has error(s) ). Cosmetically pretty good, some yellowing but not gross, a little cracking plastic around the case bezel, the floppy drive doors were broken and have been replaced with new replicas, screen glare protector could use a more thorough careful cleaning.

Priced to move: $500, pickup in SF CA, or add $200 to pack well and ship UPS anywhere in the continental US.

Are the drives double sided?
...
AFAIK, the only way to write disks other than the Victor is with an AppleSauceFDC.
...
Also, you can use Kermit to transfer files to it:

Yeah, it is a cool machine--Unique disk tech, pretty sharp industrial design, satisfying keyboard.

These are single sided drives (Tandon mechs), but the controller card seems to have another pair of headers for data connections so my guess is you could swap in double sided mechs if you wanted.

A floppy containing Kermit for file transfer is included (see pics) and I have an Applesauce setup so if a buyer wants me to write out some additional disk images to use with it I can do that too.
