This Macintosh Plus is for parts or a project.
It was used as a prop so it’s painted—it’s not functioning not sure which parts work and which dont.
It’s FREE if you can pick it up in Bushwick, Brooklyn NY.

Was it painted with calamine lotion and an old rag?



Not that far of a drive, but I dont need another compact mac.

Would love the CRT out of it, but its too far LOL. Would love to put it in the Compaq Portable I.

If anyone does jump on it and wants to strip the paint, the brake fluid method I developed for the Lisa will work and shouldn't strip the lettering off the keyboard.

Just plain old Dot3 or Dot4 brake fluid? Just soak it on?

DOT3, as it's extremely cheap. Soaks right into the texture and if you leave the surface soaked you can scrape it off in sheets.
