Have a Gateway Essential 733 with a Celeron 733 CPU that had Windows Me from the factory I pulled out of storage last week. Actually I had 2 identical machines, one had a dead power supply and good motherboard, the other has a bad motherboard but good power supply other than the PSU fan was stuck bad, which I have replaced already. I put the good PSU in the case with the good motherboard and it's working good. The bad PSU andd bad motherboard will go back into storage for parts I suppose. Each had a 256mb and 64 mb SIMM, I put both 256s in the working machine for 512 total. It had no HD so I pulled a 120gb from my stash of IDE drives and it's now functional hardware-wise.

The Celeron 733 is a socket 370 66 FSB Coppermine, just curious if anyone knows of a Pentium III socket 370 CPU that I could replace it with as it appears the Pentium III Coppermines run an FSB of 133. May or may not make a difference but it could.

My main question is with makeing the 120gb drive dual boot - I have partitioned it to have a 75gb C: for Windows 2000 Pro which is already loaded and the remainder is for loading FreeDOS 1.3 onto. I've done dual/multi boot on newer OSes but not on older ones like W2K Pro or with a DOS as 2nd OS. My guess is I will need a boot manager/loader? If not please elaborate, if so what is a good loader/manager program? All information is appreciated in advance.
