Hello Peeps,
I thought I should add an introduction. I'm Paul, originally a Brit, but have spent most of my life in far flung parts of the world.
My story starts in 1981 where 14 year old me started the IT journey with a ZX81 and then the ZX Spectrum. I touched upon various other machines such as the Apple IIe and Memotech MTX-512.
Fast forward to 1985 and 18 year old me was doing an internship for Norsk Data in Oslo as part of the development team for SIBAS II before returning to the UK and developing in dBase III and Clipper before transitioning to FoxPro.
1992 saw me join Microsoft in the ITG group and move to Seattle where I stayed until 2013
During my time there I joined the WA State National Guard and did "interesting" things for the US Army before returning to the UK and working for the University of East Anglia (UEA).
Now I am an unemployed wastel with roo much time on my hands and messing about restoring old 80s era computers. My "big" project is trying to build out a working ND-100/CX Compact Minicomputer.
I'm open to helping out on other people's projects so if you think I might have skull sets that would help, please feel free to drop my a DM.
