I have a GRiDcase 1530 VGA LCD (as of now in non-working condition) but I am thinking forward about possibilities. Looking at the VGA graphic card, there are two connectors there, like on a CGA adapter. On a CGA, one is for LCD display, second one is for plasma display. Do you think I can connect CGA plasma display from 1520 or 1530 to this card? I know I would have to use different internal PSU, version which have +33V rail for plasma display. I am unsure about how it would handle the resolution. I think that these common CGA plasma displays are 640x400. I don't know if the plasma VGA option was 640x480, or not. Maybe I could use that common 640x400 version, at least basic VGA resolution of 320x200 could work? I don't want to damage display or the card itself, so that's why I am asking, if someone tried this before. Thanks for any ideas.

Plasma is supported, but it's CGA 600x400. The dual connectors makes sense. If a laptop supported LCD or plasma, it was typical for them to include the header for both so they only had to use one card in the systems. The display will be 1-bit (2 colors, black/orange).

You will need to replace VGA board with CGA and replace DC-DC board with one that works for plasma.
There are 3 different DC-DC boards, plasma (33v), cga/el lcd, vga/lcd
I do not think there was actual VGA plasma option for sale although it is possible (my T3200SX has VGA plasma so technically possible)

I have original internal VGA card in it, which has two output connectors - one is for LCD display and second one is very probably for plasma display. I am 99.9% sure it is for plasma. I want to convert from LCD VGA (which works) to plasma VGA. My question was, if I can use plasma display (whole top lid with everything in it) from CGA models for this. Connectors would fit, everything fits, it's just a question if it will work. I think there was plasma VGA option, and it used similar, slightly bigger display, it was 640x480 as compared to 640x400 in CGA models.

yes it is. afaik there was vga plasma option, at least for 1550sx. it probaby had more gray scale levels and different protocol and timings from cga plasma. alsp cga plasma is 640x400 and vga would be 640x480.
so you need vga plasma screen.

this is what i discerned about plasma connector so far
