Wondering if anyone could provide some clues as to what part this is?

Assume it is a linear regulator?

Comes out of a power supply ckt in a Toshiba T1000XE.

Looks like you're not the only one looking Another guy
Curiously, both Toshiba T1000 series. I'm not sure that it's a VR; could also be a MOSFET. That 1K resistor in series with what would be the gate makes sense.

I found 2SK1273 n channel MOSFET has NA marking. Nice find on that thread.

Simple resistance test shows about 20M ohms between drain and source .. with Vgs open so assumed 0V. Seems high. Unsure is a mosfet would fail short between Drain and source.

Found an actual blown 2 pin device in a package like an sot89. Marked 20230613_143455.jpgE2

Strange pin arrangement. This is actually a 2 pin device with a forward voltage of 0.2 V. Measured on a good version of the part. (Board has 2).

More detective work. But this part is definitely blown.

I looked and did find the github for T1200 psu also. But, I don't yet see the same part that I need to identify.... the search continues.
