Hi recently got an awesome Sony SMC-210D6 portable computer.
The system works great boot from Floppy is all ok, but the keyboard is non-working.
After some testing found out that the keyboard controller is ok the mechanical switches on the board F1-F10 keys work ok and shorting the pins from the bottom to the top flex connector activate key presses.
Then checked the keyboard itself, it uses a bottom pc and a top membrane to complete the circuit.
The top membrane has a long flat part that goes to the motherboard and is broken where the case applies pressure on it, so needs fixing.
This membrane is in reverse I was expecting the conductors to be located on the white part and the orange tape covering it.
I know that one can use conductive paint, but need ideas on the best way to open this also suggestions for the best conductive paint for this.
