Hello everyone,

I recently came across a complete set of Microsoft Windows Neufassung software, which was specifically distributed for Mitac microcomputer systems. The set includes:

The original box,

User manuals,

Installation floppy disks,

The condition is excellent, and everything seems to be intact. However, I could not find much information about this specific release online.

I would appreciate any insights regarding:

1. Its historical significance.

2. An approximate value for collectors.

3. Where such items are usually sold.

Thank you for your help and expertise!

Hello and welcome,

If you're looking for info to justify some big price tag, you came to the wrong place.
If you need a bracket put it up for offers, we have a Trade subforum here.

Hi hi, i thought that information for something im interested in i can look everywhere:)) sorry, maybe it is realy wrong place. Thanks for your time.

"Neufassung" just means "new release" in German. This was done on many boxes instead of writing the version number onto it. Good and well-know example is Windows 98 Second Edition, which in Germany just got a "Neue Version" (new version) sticker slapped onto the box.

In other words: that is nothing special, just an OEM version for Mitac. The version number itself can be seen on the floppy disks. OEM versions like this have little to no value. I have similar ones from Zenith etc. that no one wants to buy even for a few bucks.
