Going along with the KSR-33 teletype I acquired, I'm discussing the purchase of an ASR-33 teletype from someone in Phoenix, Arizona.

As I'm not near Phoenix (I'm in St. Catherine's - in Canada), I'd like to know if it is possible that a Phoenix based hobbyist could take a look at the ASR-33, and - if I decide to buy the system - assist me in shipping the ASR-33 here to Canada (that is, in English, take the system from the seller and then wait for me to scrounge up the money to afford the shipping).

Thanks kindly for any help if it can be offered.
 
How big is an ASR-33, and how long would it take you to scrounge up the money to ship it? IE: how long would someone have to store it?

And, have you checked out Bonvu.com ?
