I enjoyed that writeup Bill.

I subscribed to be kept in the loop for developments for "Get Lamp" a few years ago. Good to see it's coming to fruition. Is there actually a finished product (DVD) people can buy yet? I guess I should click the get lamp URL to find out. :)

Text-based adventure games impacted on my career (and life) in a huge way, so it's great to see them celebrated.

I believe the dvd's ship in a few weeks. We got to see an advanced screening preview of the Infocom segment. I pre ordered my copy a while ago.

How did text games effect your career?

There's not only a commercial, pressed DVD of "Get Lamp," but a custom metal coin that Jason Scott had made to go along with it. I'm not sure if the coin is limited to preorders or not.
