I guessed a while ago that given current online activity that there are less than 100 active enthusiasts of the II/16/12/16B/6000 in the world. Given that this forum seems to be the only place on the Net where active discussion about these machines is occurring, as far as I can tell, then my guess may have been pretty close to the mark.

There has been some interesting work done on Xenix in recent months. I wonder if any of it would be applicable to your system?

IF it's in response to Josh's own experience with his #2 disk controller acting the same with the same install images I have then yes. We've been discussing off-list and I'll try and pull the machine out in the next week or so.

Cool! Good luck with your machine. My own Model II has been gathering dust for a long time, but just because I have so many other fun projects in my overstuffed list. It'll surely get more attention in the future. Then there's my Model 6000, which is still disassembled and waiting for me to give its bad power supply more attention. Switching power supplies still manage to confuse me.
