Hi,
I want to sell two HP Compaq NC6120 laptops. This model can support up to 2GB of RAM and has a lot of ports (serial, parallel, Ethernet, USB 2.0 ports, S-video, card reader, etc.). It can run Windows 7 and connect to the Internet via a USB Wifi dongle (or through Ethernet). It is useful for those who need a modern laptop that still has a parallel port. Windows 98 can also be installed on it and most drivers are supported. Two units are available, one unit has 80GB HDD and 2GB RAM selling at 50 USD, the other with no HDD and 256MB RAM selling at 40 USD. Both are working perfectly fine, except that there are a few (<5) horizontal lines on the LCD which changed position if the LCD is tilted differently. Otherwise no issues with keyboard, ports or audio.
The other unit for sale at 40 USD is a IBM ThinkPad R40e Type 2684 with 1GB RAM and 80GB HDD which is working fine as well. No issues with keyboard or LCD. When I tried to install Windows 98 on it, everything works, except that there will be no audio through the internal speaker but audio can be heard if a headset is connected via the 3.5mm port. Not sure if this is an audio hardware or driver issue.
Suitable power adapters will be provided for both units. I accept payment via PayPal and ship worldwide. Postage cost will be 70 USD worldwide for 1 item.
Hard disk will be reset prior to sale.
See attached some photos. PM me if interested.
