Huge Lot of Atari Computers

We are cleaning out our parents home and have come across boxes of Atari computers 800 and 800XL for sure (in the original boxes ), drives, casette drives, modems, cords, software, manuals etc.

My question is there any value in it? It all looks band new. There are multiple computers and a bunch of items for it all.

Where could I bring this stuff to have someone who would be interested in buying it look at it?

We live in Lombard Illinois.

Many places that say Retro do not want the computers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad

Atari people would go nuts for it and with extras and boxes its got a value

I sold my very yellow 65xe (800xl in a nutshell) no box for like 40 bucks and it didn't last 10 min on atariage before it was gone

Yes, I have been looking for an 800 in the box for a while now. There are currently 2 of them on eBay. One has a few small defects, but it is at $300 right now.
The other one is a huge beautiful lot, but it starts at $1999.99. Way too rich for my blood.

I already have a 800, and several games, but no box.

I have two 400's with boxes. One has not arrived yet, but it is on its way.

Atari 800

Atari 800

For those of us who like pics, I did find an Atari 800 in a near mint box.

Please share your pics, as I would love to see what my fellow vintage PC guys are collecting.

You can pic one up on eBay for about $50. I have one that I play with and one that I keep in the box.

An 800 in the box for 50$? Never seen that.

Anyway, although I havea a deep and dying devotion to the 800 specifically, I mostly want an XEGS right now (yes I know they‘re available). You basically get the best of all worlds, and a detachable k/b to boot.

No, of course you can not get an Atari 800 in the box for $50. You are lucky if you can find an Atari 800 in the box, at all. You can pick up an Atari 800 system that works, but does not come in the box for anywhere from $50 to $150. The one I have, that I play with all the time, I picked up for $50. The one that I have that is in a beautiful box, I payed over $300 for. I believe that it is well worth that much and even a lot more, as it took me a year to find that one.
I am selling an Atari 400 in the box for $365 on eBay, but it includes a tape deck recorder in box, as well as several games and a couple of controllers. Again, the 400 box, although it is a lot more sturdy, it is still very hard to find.

Please keep us abreast of developments with this lot. Theres no way I could pay 300 for an 800, but mine doesnt have to be new either.

? Maybe my post got overlooked on the prior page but the owner ended up selling the entire lot on eBay.

Congratulations on making a sale for those items. How much did they go for? Was supposed to give you this a few weeks ago but wasn't able to for some reason.

Actually it did not sell, but not to worry. It is still a very nice system, in a nice box, which is in good shape.
