Good evening guys, i am desperate now!!
I bought this rare retro computer, it turns on but connecting with its antenna cable, you see very badly and sometimes I can't even tune the channel .... I tried to connect a composite to the video output but you can't see anything .. can you help me please?

You could always connect your oscilloscope up to the composite video output and see what the computer was outputting...

You have the test gear, so you can use it...

If there is no signal present, you will not see anything on the monitor.

If there is a signal present, it should look like a PAL, NTSC or SECAM video signal of some sort.

TV connections are (were) just rubbish...

How have you tuned the TV receiver to the computer signal?

Nice machine, congrats!. The EG-2000 has a notoriously bad video output even in composite mode. The only thing I remember is a potentiometer located in the lower right of the board that can be used to adjust the color, maybe it could help if slightly tuned.

How old is the TV ?

UHF images from computers were notoriously none compliant with the specs for TV modulation but got away with it because so were TV's. Later units seem to become more and more picky.

Have you tried a different (ie older) unit ?
