I am continuing to go through my collection and ran across 3 new old stock IBM keyboards from PC-XT days. I see no numbers on the keyboard itself, but the box is labeled as a model 1501100. I see references to this model sometimes being referred to as a Model F and some fairly high prices for Model F keyboards. Do any of you have information on identifying model 1501100 or Model F keyboards? I am hoping I have a couple of valuable keyboards!

Hello! As long as your Model Fs are the US version with 83 keys, then they're likely 1501100s. Since most Model Fs have the same key layout, you can tell what base model they are by looking at the case and cord placement. 1501100s are the most common since they were PC keyboards for the IBM 5150 and 5160, with other part numbers for that series being for other languages and slight difference That being said, since they're NOS, they should fetch a really high price regardless since many collectors go nuts over them! The article and manual I attached go into it in much more depth and, in my experience, seem to be pretty accurate.
