i recently brought my IBM 5160 motherboard back to life. Unfortunately the PSU is not healthy, so i've been powering the 5160 board with a standard ATX PSU.
Since the ATX PSU does not have a female AC connector for the monitor like the XT PSU, can i connect the 5151 monitor directly to mains? Afterall the 5151 takes AC power... Isn't the AC connector on the XT PSU just an AC current passthrough?
Needless to say i'm in europe but my 5151 is rigged for 220V VAC.
