Sorry, I completely missed the inability to search for aspect.
What's the best way to fix it? I can't even find how to delete the post, to repost it better.

Sad thing is the title is the only aspect that cant be changed. Dont worry . Im sure it wont affect anyone looking at the listing.

The 5155 would be an awfully big and heavy suitcase. When I saw "suitcase portable" I thought of the PS/2 Model P70 or P75.

Well I know exactly what you mean but maybe suitcase vs briefcase. My parents used to have these hardshell pink luggage set. Various sizes. Some the size of the 5155 some larger.

My father worked in business and carried various briefcases too. They were all relatively a similar dimension (more in tune with the P70).

But I will never know why they picked pink for luggage.... Maybe so its easier to spot when you get to where your going?

I fixed the title of the thread.

Good luck, I love the 5155. And, people definitely called it a “suitcase” or luggable, back when it was new. Remember that stereotypical 1970s hard-sided luggage? The 5155 is very close to that size, albeit a bit heavier.

They were also called "sewing machine" portables, because the size, weight, and appearance is similar to a portable sewing machine in its case.

Yeah, I remember them mostly as "sewing machines", or "luggables".

"Briefcase" computers was one of the more common terms for the first gen of flat screen portables (whether they were "fits in your briefcase" machines like the Tandy Model 100 or the early clamshells that, you know, were about the size of and kind of opened like a briefcase), and the term "lunchbox" had some currency for the stand-up machines like the Compaq Portable III and Morrow Pivot. (It's particularly apropos for the latter.)

I still like the lunchbox form factor. Portable enough, but with a good keyboard and room for expansion.

The military still uses a lot of modern lunchbox systems.

I would swear that 90% of Dolch's lunchbox output from the 1990's went towards building dedicated "network analyzers". (Which of course were just 486 or Pentium machines with network cards and DOS based packet generation/analysis software on them.) They were pretty sweet machines with lovely Cherry keyboards. Unfortunately their LCD screens don't seem to age well.
